TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- For many women and men it is a terrifying reality. Being victims of stalkers, or in this day in age, victims of cyber stalkers.
In this week's "For Your Protection", Officer David Northway offers insight into keeping yourself safe when being harrased.

Tips include:
-Never reveal your home address
-Password protect all accounts
-Be suspicious of any incoming emails, telephone calls or texts that ask you for your identifying information
-If you are leaving a partner, spouse or boyfriend or girlfriend, reset every single password on all of your accounts to something they cannot guess
-Do not use sites that prevent you from "blocking" specific persons
