TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Investigators say they believe a faulty electrical outlet could be to blame for a Thursday afternoon fire.
Tallahassee fire crews were called out around 3:40 p.m. Thursday to a home on the 2800 block on Ardley Lane.
Lt. Mike Bellamy with TFD says a resident at the home said they heard a loud bang just before seeing flames. It took crews about 10 minutes to put out the fire.
No one was injured, but three adults and three children who live at the home will have to find somewhere else to live.
Damages are estimated to be about $60,000.
Lt. Bellamy says investigators believe an electrical outlet is believed to be the cause of the fire.
