The Downtown Tallahassee Business Association and the Tallahassee Downtown Improvement Authority will host the “Downtown Tallahassee Music Fest Competition."
All local musicians and bands can enter the competition for a chance to perform at the Downtown Tallahassee New Year’s Eve 2014 Event. Musicians and bands may also have the chance to perform live on WTXL ABC 27 Tallahassee’s Sunrise Rocks segment. In addition the winner may have the opportunity to be heard on one of Cumulus’ radio stations.
“We are excited to announce this year’s Downtown Tallahassee Music Fest, which offers bands the unique chance to compete to be the opening act for the headliner of the 2014 Downtown Tallahassee New Year’s Eve Celebration,” said Curt Reilly, president of the DTBA. “We encourage all those who are interested to enter into this exciting competition, and we invite everyone in the Big Bend area to come join in the fun and enjoy the great music that these talented bands and musicians have to offer.”
