For the 23rd year, on Friday, Leon County deputies will wait on customers, serving meals and information about Leon County Special Olympics. Deputies will be collecting tips and donations that will be used to help Special Olympic athletes compete in various competitions.

Deputies will be waiting on customers Friday during lunch, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., and during dinner, from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m.

In the last five years the Leon County Sheriff's Office has raised more than $120,000 for Special Olympics.
