CRAWFORDVILLE, FL (WTXL) -- A 25-year-old woman is dead after a tree fell on her Sunday evening, said the Wakulla County Sheriff's Office,
Toni Ann Houston was pronounced dead at the scene of her home on Timberwood Court.
The tree fell on Houston's mobile home during Sunday nights storm, according to Sheriff Charlie Creel. Houston was inside her house at the time and was crushed by the tree, said deputies.
“During this tragic event, the first responders involved should be commended for their effort and professionalism in dealing with an extremely difficult scene,” said Sheriff Creel.
