Crawfordville Fla. (WTXL)--A Crawfordville man is now facing felony drug charges Wakulla County Jail after an undercover operation with the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office narcotics team was alerted by a K-9 narcotics dog alerted of suspicious package in Panacea. 

27 year old James Joshua Williams was observed by deputies collecting the package spotted by the WCSO K-9. Just after 10a.m. officials took Williams into custody and charged him with possession of 20 plus grams of marijuana and possession of narcotics equipment.

Inside the package two sealed plastic bags with nearly one half pound of high grade marijuana was found inside. The street value of the marijuana seized is estimated at $7,000.

William’s car was searched during the inventory of the vehicle; an investigator located a marijuana smoking pipe and over $ 300 was found. 

Williams is being held on $3,000 bond.
