TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Children went outside the classroom to think about science in fun ways at Kate Sullivan Elementary.
The school held its third annual "Science Carnival" Friday in front of the school on Miccosukee Road.
Several organizations presented booths, featuring expert speakers and interactive games and lessons to enrich the students' learning of different aspects of science.
The ABC 27 Storm Team mobile weather lab was on hand, with chief meteorologist Casanova Nurse demonstrating the use of "green screen" technology used in TV weathercasts.
If you are a teacher or coordinator of a civic organization and would like to have Casanova or another Storm Team meteorologist to speak to your group, email email@example.com with your request.
