TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Professionals in the community shared their knowledge and love of all things science at Roberts Elementary Monday morning during the school's annual Science Day and Night.
Chief Meteorologist Casanova Nurse provided presentations to over 200 students, ranging from first to fifth grade, during the morning session. Meteorological concepts covered during the half-hour presentations included the water cycle, instruments used in weather forecasting, and broadcasting from a television studio.
The learning opportunity continued Monday evening with the school's Science Night, featuring exhibits open to students and families around the campus.
