TALLAHASSEE, FLA. (WTXL) - Another body has been found and returned from the dozier boys school in Marianna.
According to the Lakeland Ledger, Thomas Varnadoe's remains were found, and will now be buried this coming week in Plant city.
Varnadoe died at age 13, at the reform school in 1934. Former students at the school have spoken about a history of abuse at the school in books and media accounts.
Varnadoe's uncle played a key role in supporting the three-year university of South Florida forensic investigation and helped identify the remains of 55 unmarked graves at the school.
