TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Last week, we showed you the story of a woman who is in fear of what the future holds.
Michele Weiss has cerebral palsy, a condition that affects her muscles and movements. Recently, she got a letter in the mail saying that the state of Florida will no longer pay for her Medicare part B.
Now, she doesn't know how she will pay for her medical bills and if she will have a home.
"I could be living out of my car if... if they do this to me," said Weiss. "My check in June is going to be 420 dollars less than I normally get."
Michele is currently re-applying for medical insurance.
