TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Time is running out for holiday shoppers!
With just three days until Christmas, local shipping centers have seen customers dashing in this week to make sure their gifts are delivered in time.
It's was a relatively slow Friday at Goin' Postal by Lake Jackson. Part of that is because most folks have already sent their packages to be sure they're sent to their loved ones before Christmas.
Earlier, packages were weighed, sealed and labeled, ready to be mailed. The store manager at Goin' Postal says their deadline for Christmas deliveries was actually last Friday.
WTXL also stopped by Pakmail on Apalachee Parkway. The store has suggested customers get a jump on their deliveries and most of them have done just that.
"It's been nice and steady. We've had a few peaks that have been fun to deal with, but we've gotten past that now, and every year, it's a big relief to get to this point," said Kanut Khosla, the owner of Pak Mail of Tallahassee.
"It's been really slow today, but like I said, it's two days before Christmas basically, and nothing's getting out unless you want to pay extra," said Tabitha Smith, who's a manager at Goin' Postal.
The manager at Goin' Postal mentioned more millennials are doing their shipping online, while older folks are still coming in to do theirs.
