TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)--A annual 5k run is set for this weekend and it's for a good cause.
It's the Desoto Trail's 3rd Annual 5k/1 mile run coming up this weekend.
Proceeds benefit reading and literacy support and programs at Desoto Trail Elementary.
It begins and ends at the campus on Tredington Park Drive. Organizers say there will be plenty of cheering.
They say it's a great race for beginning runners and children. Serious runners you're not left out. The race is USATF certified, and will be chip-timed by the Gulf Winds Track Club.
