TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The day after Christmas many retailers are just as busy dealing with customers as they are leading up to the holiday.
Today is commonly known as "Return Wednesday," the day where people take their presents back to stores to return them.
One retail owner in the area agrees that business can be challenging as customers frequently come into his store asking to exchange or return products.
He said that if you are trying to return items, there are a couple things you should be aware of.
"The day after Christmas is one of the lowest inventory points of most retailers including myself. So, if you're trying to exchange or return something, its going to be very difficult for us to have complete inventory," said Dwayne Carroll, Owner of Carroll's Boot Country. "From a return standpoint, most retailers are pretty cooperative as long as it comes back on original condition and it hasn't been worn or damaged and can be re-sold."
He also expresses that if you are trying to return items at his store or any in the area, its important to remember your receipt.
