TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Continuing efforts are still being made to help the dozens of families who lost their homes in a wildfire in Franklin County last month.

Island Wing Company in Tallahassee donated 15 percent of their proceeds to the victims of Eastpoint on Saturday.

Managers at the restaurant say it's the least they can do to help their neighbors in need.

"For all day today we're giving 15 percent of our donations to Franklin County. We just want to help our community out with our tragedy here," said Wayne Moyer. "With the fires going on a lot of people lost their homes and they're displaced from their families and stuff and we just really wanna try and help them out."

The restaurant has also collected clothes, food and other supplies to be donated to the victims of Eastpoint.
