TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)-- Local Red Cross organizations are stepping up to help the victims of the deadly tornado that ripped through Oklahoma Monday evening.
The tornado left 24 people dead, 7 of those children. The aftermath has left many without homes or clothing. The South Georgia Chapter of the American Red Cross and the Capital Area Chapter of North Florida are joining together to support the victims in need.
The American Red Cross issued a statement expressing its thoughts and concerns for the victims and expressed that they will be there for the people in Oklahoma and in the community.
