TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Alzheimer's Association and a few local organizations came together to share information about Alzheimer's with the community.
People at the Tallahassee Caregiver Conference learned about techniques and resources to help people with Alzheimer's.
According to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, the state of Florida will see a 41 percent increase in the number of people with Alzheimer's and similar diseases by 2025.
"What this is all about is putting tools in the tool kit," said Vicky Rose, TMH Memory Disorder Clinic Coordinator. "So everybody when they're taking care of somebody or having a community member that their apart of, they need to have these tools in their tool box so that they're able to better help the people around them in their community."
