TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — A Tallahassee woman found guilty of prostituting a child for 13 years in exchange for drugs has been sentenced to life in prison.

Celeste Chambers, 37, received a mandatory life sentence for sexual battery on a child under 12.

At her trial in January, Chambers was also found guilty on four counts of lewd and lascivious conduct, child abuse and human trafficking.

Chambers was also ordered to carry a mandatory “sexual predator” designation.

Chambers is at the county jail until she is transported to a larger location. The State’s Attorneys Office does not know when this will be.
