WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — A 52-year-old woman is dead after a rollover crash on Bloxham Cutoff Road in Wakulla County early Friday morning.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 2 a.m. Friday morning. As of 8:33 a.m. Friday, a roadblock is still being reported in the area.
They said a car, driven by a 52-year-old Bristol woman, was going west on Bloxham Cutoff Road (State Road 267) past Rosa Shingles Road when the car went off the road.
The car then began to rotate counterclockwise as it traveled into a ditch.
Troopers said the car continue spinning around and then started to overturn, rolling over multiple times stopping on the north shoulder of the road, while the front end was partially in the roadway.
FHP said the driver died from her injuries sustained in the crash.
