LOWNDES COUNTY, Fla. — A Lowndes County woman has died from injuries sustained in a house fire.
According to our ABC affiliate in Albany (WALB), the fire happened at a home on Hope Drive off of James Road in Lowndes County.
WALB reports that Chindel Spriggs died at the South Georgia Medical Center emergency room around 2:00 p.m. Wednesday and her death was ruled accidental.
WALB states that investigators are still working to pinpoint the origin of the fire and foul play is not suspected.
