TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — In addition to the two shootings in Tallahassee on Monday, police are working on one that happened over the weekend in the Southside.

It's an area the city had considered to move TPD headquarters.

The shooting happened early Saturday morning at the Orange Avenue Apartments.

Pastor Lee Johnson's Loved by Jesus Family Church has service at the community center there. He told us that crime happens everywhere, regardless of whether or not TPD ends up moving to the Southside.

"When you look at the crime problem, I don't think whether the police station was here or not would have anything to do with that, curbing it or whatever," said Johnson. "All I can tell you is I saw the business benefits. I saw people's appraisal value in their property going up."
