WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — A crash on Coastal Highway near Hamaknockers BBQ is currently blocking the road, according to deputies.
Thursday, the Wakulla County Sheriff's Office posted a social media message asking drivers to find an alternative road due to a car crash that has made Coastal Highway impassable.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol's live traffic map, troopers were dispatched to a location near the intersection of Coastal Highway (U.S. Highway 98/319) and Carter Road at 11:41 a.m. and arrived on the scene two minutes later.
WCSO said in a tweet that drivers may use Floyd Gray Road to Lawhon Mill to Route 319 as a bypass to the area.
WCSO is currently working a traffic accident on Coastal Highway near HammerKnockers (2837 Coastal Highway). Currently the road is impassable and drives need to find an alternative route.

Drivers may use Floyd Gray rd, Lawhon Mill, 319 route as a bypass to the area.
It is unclear how many cars are involved or if anyone has been injured in the crash.
