TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Leon County Sheriff's Office says another meth trafficker is off the streets after an arrest Wednesday night.
Deputies say the SPIDER Unit located 38-year-old Jason Rigdon Wednesday night. He was wanted on several felony warrants, including aggravated assault with a firearm, for violating his probation.
When he was found, Rigdon tried to run but deputies say they utilized a stun gun to apprehend him.
He was later found to be in possession of over 20 grams of meth, cash, stolen items, and drug paraphernalia. As a result of the investigation, deputies found probable cause to charge Rigdon with trafficking in meth, grand theft of a firearm, grand theft, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, resisting arrest without violence, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Rigdon was taken to the Leon County Detention Facility.
