The Wakulla County Board of Commissioners has announced that Shell Point Beach and Mashes Sands Beach will be closed to the public until further notice.
After sunset on Monday, both beaches will be closed to the public until further notice.
County officials also say all library programs and all recreation programs at Medart Recreation Park have been cancelled.
The library will be closed to the public until further notice but will be allowing curbside pickup if you call the library at 926-7415 or email at wcpl@wakullalibrary.org.
All county parks remain open to the public at this time.
