TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A visitation for those who wish to pay respect to Toyin Salau, the outspoken activist and victim of a double homicide, is set for Friday evening at Tillman Funeral Home on Crawfordville Road.
The 19-year-old was found murdered alongside Vicki Sims in a Tallahassee neighborhood.
One woman who knew Salau says she was like a daughter to her.
“Everybody saw her when they were protesting," said Betty Udofiah, a family friend of Salau. "She was at the forefront. She loved the people. She has the heart for people, she would do anything for anybody.”
Aaron Glee, Jr. is charged in the murders of Salau and Sims.
