PERRY, Fla.(WTXL) — The Perry Police Department has identified the victims in last week's fatal double shooting.
Police have identified the victims as 33-year-old Heather May Luther, a mother of two, and 31-year-old Kirk Jansky.
Authorities say on July 17, Joseph Luther shot at a car that later crashed into the trees near the post office in Perry.
Sadly, the driver and passenger both died from their injuries.
Police say Luther then drove away but officers later caught up with him.
Luther was arrested and charged with two counts of first degree murder.
