TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The City of Tallahassee is honoring the men and women who serve and have served our country with free rides on StarMetro.
Veterans can travel around Tallahassee free of charge on Veteran's Day. They need only to show a valid military ID for a free fare on any fixed route.
Buses will be operating on a Saturday schedule.
"All patriots have to do is just board StarMetro, and the operator will count them in," said Angela Baldwin with StarMetro. "We're proud to offer this service as we have in many, many years to the citizens in this community."
