VALDOSTA, Ga. — Valdosta State students, like many others across the country, are stressing just ahead of finals week.

At VSU however, dozens of students attended the annual De-stress Fest, an event held each semester the week before finals.

Those that attended could cuddle with dogs, play games, color, and even get a massage.

Students are truly grateful for the time spent thinking about something other than final tests and projects.

"It's very helpful. The animals are probably the best part of this. I grew up with animals around me so I'm happy being here," said Madison Crews, a VSU junior.

The De-stress Fest is made possible by volunteers at the school, but also throughout the community.
