VALDOSTA, Fla. (WTXL) — Valdosta firefighters are investigating after a late night fire broke out Thursday at a home on West Adair Street.
The Valdosta Fire Department says crews responded to the report of a structure fire at 828 W. Adair Street on Thursday night.
According to VPD, the call came in from dispatch at approximately 11:26 p.m.
The first fire unit arrived within five minutes to find a home fully engulfed in flames.
Fire crews were able to bring the fire under control before it spread to neighboring homes.
Valdosta Police Department and South Georgia Medical Center EMS assisted crews on scene.
A total of 16 VFD personnel responded to the scene.
Fortunately,no injuries were reported.
Authorities say the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
