CRAWFORDVILLE, Fla. (WTXL) — Two teen boys have been hospitalized with serious injuries after a rollover crash just south of Crawfordville Sunday night.
The Florida Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 8 p.m. Sunday night on U.S. 98 (Coastal Highway) near Boylin Road, just south of Crawfordville.
When troopers arrived, the 19-year-old driver and 17-year-old passenger were being assisted by the Wakulla County Sheriff's office and Wakulla County EMS.
Both were transported to Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare for their injuries. Troopers list the driver as being in critical condition while the passenger is in serious condition.
FHP reports that the driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. At this time, it is unknown if alcohol played a factor in the crash.
Troopers say the crash is still under investigation and charges are pending. ABC 27 has decided not to name the driver or the passenger at this time.
