TALLAHASSEE, Fla.(WTXL) — Police have arrested two men in connection to a shooting that happened over the weekend at the Pasco Apartments on Pasco Street.

According to the Tallahassee Police Department, officers responded to a shooting at an apartment at 1810 Pasco Street just after 11:30 p.m. on Saturday night.

When officers arrived on scene, they discovered a man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

He was transported to a local hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.

The victim told officers he was walking through the parking lot of the complex when he was shot by the suspect without provocation.

During the investigation, officers made contact with the suspect and took him into custody.

The shooting suspect was identified as 41-year-old Michael B. O’Day.

O’Day was arrested and is being charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and possession of firearm by a convicted felon.

As the investigation continued into the whereabouts of the firearm, it led to a nearby apartment.

Police say a man at the apartment claimed no knowledge of the gun’s whereabouts.

Investigators then applied for and obtained a search warrant for the premises.

The firearm was located during the search and Jaime Lee,26, was charged with his role in concealing the evidence, as well as violations of probation.
