LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — Florida Highway Patrol is currently on scene of a two-vehicle crash with injuries on I-10 in Leon County.

According to FHP, the crash occurred Tuesday on I-10 at mile marker 209 around 2:17 a.m.

Troopers say a semi tractor and trailer traveling in the outside lane, sideswiped a tow truck traveling on the eastbound paved emergency lane.

After the crash, the semi continued traveling onto the side of the road, entering a wooded area where the trailer eventually rolled onto its side.

Both drivers Donald Davis, 38, of Fort Worth and Everett York, 48, of Tallahassee were transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

Authorities say the Rapid Incident Scene Clearance program (RISC) has been activated and tow trucks are on scene.

Troopers say no eastbound travel lanes are blocked at this time.

Florida Highway Patrol was initially assisted on scene by Leon County Fire and Rescue, Leon County EMS and the Leon County Sheriff's Office.
