WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — The Florida Highway Patrol says no one has been injured after a deer caused a fiery car crash in Crawfordville Thursday morning.
Troopers responded to the car fire at Shadeville Road and Wakulla Springs Road around 11:09 a.m. Thursday morning. As a result of the crash, Shadeville Road was blocked for nearly two hours.
They say crash happened when an unidentified driver ran into a deer that was crossing the road. The car, which caught on fire, was later pulled out of a nearby ditch.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported in the crash.
Shadeville Road has since been reopened to traffic.
