TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Troopers say a woman has died after being hit by a truck early Thursday morning near the intersection of Capital Circle SW and Springhill Road in Tallahassee.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a pickup truck was traveling westbound on Capital Circle. A woman was walking in the westbound lane of Capital Circle and was struck by the truck, traveling onto the eastbound lane.
CPR was attempted on the pedestrian and was pronounced deceased by EMS personnel after they arrived on the scene.
The driver did not suffer any injuries during the crash.
The Florida Highway Patrol was assisted by Leon County EMS and Leon County Sheriff's Office.
