CRAWFORDVILLE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Florida Highway Patrol has identified the man who was hit and killed by a car while crossing Wakulla Springs Road in Crawfordville.
Troopers say the crash happened around 6:45 a.m. Monday morning. They say it happened at the intersection of Wakulla Springs Road and Quail Court.
They say Michael Loggins, 44, of Crawfordville was walking on south on the west shoulder of Wakulla Springs Road when he walked into the middle of the road.
A 2012 Dodge Ram was traveling north on the road at the time and was unable to avoid Loggins, hitting him with the front of the truck. He was pronounced dead on scene.
FHP says charges are pending investigation.
