TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Tallahassee Law enforcement and a local hospital are teaming up to raise awareness for breast cancer.
TPD along with the TMH Foundation showed off their new pink wrap for the cop cars.
The wrap reveal takes place every year, but due to COVID-19, they could not hold their traditional ceremony this year.
The partnership between the two couldn't be a more perfect match.
"You know TMH has an excellent rapport with their patients and in the community," said Alicia Turner, a spokesperson for TPD. "And it's an opportunity to make sure we're partnering with someone who's doing the work as we're raising money. To try and find a cure, increase the research, and just assist those families that's going through something like this."
This event helps to support families impacted by breast cancer by raising money for awareness and research, increasing education, with hopes to find a cure
