TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Tallahassee Police Department is investigating after reports of shots fired near Hillwood Apartment Complex around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Police say the shooting happened in the 2300 block of Mission Road.
Officers arrived on the scene just after 7:30 p.m. and found two adult males suffering from gunshot wounds.
One victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The second victim sadly succumbed to his injuries.
Investigators with TPD’s Violent Crimes Unit asks anyone who may have witnessed the shooting but did not speak with an officer on the scene or anyone with information about the incident to please call 850-891-4200. They may also remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 850-574-TIPS.
