TALLAHASSEE, Fla.(WTXL) — Police are seeking information after a suspect tried to rob a local store at gunpoint Wednesday night on Old Bainbridge Road.
According to the Tallahassee Police Department, officers responded to an attempted armed robbery in the 1100 block of Old Bainbridge Road on Wednesday evening.
TPD says they received a report that a man armed with a firearm had entered a local store and attempted to rob the clerk.
The store clerk armed himself and fired a shot at the suspect, who quickly fled the scene.
Fortunately, there were no reported injuries during the incident.
This case has been assigned to investigators with TPD's Violent Crimes Unit.
