TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Tallahassee Police Department is investigating after a man managed to cash $6,900 worth of stolen checks into a compromised account.
TPD’s Financial Crimes Unit says the fraud happen Nov. 1, Nov. 4, and Dec. 4 of 2019 at the Envision Credit Union at 3618 North Monroe Street.
They say the suspect deposited stolen checks, totaling $6,900, into a "compromised" Envision Credit Union account.
