TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Police say one driver was seriously injured during a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of North Monroe Street and East Park Avenue over the weekend.
According to the Tallahassee Police Department, the accident occurred on Saturday morning.
TPD says one of the drivers was ejected from the vehicle during the crash.
That driver was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. Police say the second driver was not injured.
Traffic Homicide Investigators were called to the scene and have assumed the investigation.
As a result of the crash, all lanes near the intersection were closed on Saturday but have been reopened.
TPD is asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash, but did not speak with an officer on scene, or anyone with information about the accident to please call (850) 891-4200 and ask to speak with the Traffic Homicide Unit. They may also remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at (850) 574-TIPS.
