TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Tallahassee Police Department is investigating after an infant died at the Hope Community over the weekend.
TPD spokesman Damon Miller confirmed that officers were called to the shelter for homeless families at 2729 West Pensacola Saturday morning around 8:30 a.m.
According to Miller, the investigation is ongoing but foul play is not suspected at this time.
The exact age of the child or the circumstances surrounding the child's death have not been released.
