TALLAHASSEE, Fla.(WTXL) — The Tallahassee Police Department is investigating after one person was killed and three people were hospitalized following a crash in front of a Tallahassee apartment complex.
The crash happened just before 4 a.m. Thursday in front of the Forum Apartments, located at 2525 W. Tennessee St.
Police say one of the vehicles was making a left turn into the apartment complex, and the other was traveling eastbound on West Tennessee Street when the crash occurred.
Due to the crash, the eastbound lanes were closed for several hours but has since reopened.
Sadly, the passenger in the vehicle making the left turn was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Both drivers, as well as the passenger in the eastbound vehicle, were transported to a local hospital for treatment and evaluation.
TPD is asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash, but did not speak with an officer on scene, or anyone with information about the accident to please call 850-891-4200 and ask to speak with the Traffic Homicide Unit.
