FOUND: Missing 14-year-old boy may be in danger, search underway

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Tallahassee Police say 14-year-old Anthony Every has been found safe and sound.

They say he was located at Cascades Park.

The Leon County Sheriff's office and Capital Police also assisted in the search.


The Tallahassee Police Department is searching for a missing 14-year-old boy.

TPD's Special Victims Unit is searching for Anthony Every. They say he was last seen on Friday in the 1000 block of South Gadsden Street.

Every is described as a 14-year-old boy between 5'3 - 5'4 tall, weighing between 160 to 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a FSU t-shirt (garnet and gold), gray shorts, and black tennis shoes.

Police say he has been missing for about an hour and a search is underway in the Cascades Park area. They say Every may be in danger.

TPD says he has a "diminished mental health capacity."
