TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - — Tallahassee Police have arrested a man after they said he attacked a woman with a baseball bat.
TPD said 29-year-old Preston Aldridge walked up to a woman exercising near a soccer field at Lincoln Highschool around 4:25pm Saturday. Police said he asked her for help with his car but when she got close enough he swung at her several times.
The victim is now in the hospital. Aldridge faces aggravated battery charges.
Police call it "a random act."
