TPD: 4 arrested after investigation into illegal gambling house

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Tallahassee Police Department says an ongoing investigation into illegal gambling at home at 2418 North Monroe Street has led them to arrest four people.

On Nov. 19, the Tallahassee Police Department served a search warrant as part of an ongoing investigation into illegal gambling at 2418 North Monroe Street.

With assistance from its Violent Crimes Response Team, TPD's Special Investigation Section served the search warrant following an investigation stemming from community complaints and a recent call for service in reference to a store employee allegedly pointing a firearm at someone.

The search warrant led to the arrest of multiple subjects for gambling and keeping a gambling house.

Arrested:

  • Charles Ricker, 59, for keeping a gambling house.
  • Emma Dorsey, 71, for gambling
  • Denise Mathis, 55, for gambling
  • Irish Johnson, 54, for gambling
