(WTXL) — WTXL'S First Alert Weather team says there was a radar confirmed tornado in the City of Cairo on Sunday evening.
According to the National Weather Service storm prediction center, there was "significant damage reported in Cairo with tornadic debris signature."
NWS radars also report there were at least two tornadoes in the Big Bend area. One was reported in Gadsden County and the other in Wakulla County.
The NWS says that they will be organizing multiple survey teams to begin surveying tornado damage across north Florida, southeast Alabama, and southwest Georgia.
