(WTXL) — The Tornado watch issued for multiple Big Bend and South Georgia counties has been extended until 11 a.m. Friday.
A Tornado watch has been issued for Tallahassee, western Big Bend and several southwestern Georgia counties until 9:00 a.m. Friday.
The National Weather Service of Tallahassee says the watch also includes other parts of Florida, Georgia and Alabama.
Meteorologists say developing storms Friday morning have the chance to cause strong wind gusts and isolated to a few tornadoes.
