(WTXL) — A tornado warning has been issued for multiple counties in the Big Bend area.
Suwannee and Hamilton are under a tornado warning until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Both counties are also under a thunderstorm warning.
The National Weather Service said the storm may produce wind gusts over 60 mph, with possible hail and frequent lighting. They are urging people in the area to seek shelter immediately and stay away from windows.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
