TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — As we get closer to one year of the pandemic, Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is encouraging people to support frontline workers through their "Healthcare Heroes" program.

In order to participate, you have to buy one of these coffee bags from Red Eye coffee's website or on TMH's. Then, the hospital will give them free to employees.

The hospital said even though vaccine rollout is steady COVID-19 still holds a heavy burden on their everyday work right now and they could use the extra kindness.

"This is just a way we want to rally behind our colleagues that are in the hospital who have been fighting COVID-19 for a year and colleagues now involved in the vaccine distribution just to let them know the community is still behind them and thinking about them and cares about them," said TMH Foundation Development Officer Rebeccah Lutz.

Buying coffee isn't the only way to support a healthcare hero. Click here for information on how to sponsor a frontline worker or here to donate through Redeye's site.
