VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) — Three people were arrested after they broke into an apartment and assaulted a victim in Valdosta.

Ronald Isaac, 18, NyKale Wood, 18, and Emanuel Hill, 18, were arrested on Saturday.

On Saturday, at about 9:52 p.m., the Valdosta Police Department responded to an apartment complex in the 1500 block of Lankford Drive after a report of a home invasion.

When officers arrived on scene, they made contact with the victims, who said they that had been assaulted by the three suspects.

The victims told officers that they had been involved in a prior dispute with the suspects earlier in the day.

According to the victims, the suspects forced their way into the apartment and began attacking one of the victims.

During the assault, a gun was said to have been pointed at two children that were inside the apartment during the assault.

After the incident, the suspects fled the area, but within an hour, the suspects were found and were taken into custody by the Lowdnes County Sheriff's Office.

Hill, Isaac, and Wood are all being charged with two counts of felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, felony 1st degree home invasion, felony third degree cruelty to children, and misdemeanor battery.

The investigation is still currently ongoing.
