(WTXL) — Thousands across the Big Bend and South Georgia are without power after a line of storms made its way through the area early Monday morning.
Most of the outages stem from Georgia Power, with 785 outages in the South Georgia region, and Duke Energy, with 1,025 between Tallahassee and Suwannee County.
The outages come after severe weather rolled into the area early Monday morning, including a tornado touchdown in Madison County.
Emergency management said that multiple roads were blocked by trees, though they are continuing to survey the damage.
